MX Record Checker · plus SPF, DKIM, DMARC & blacklist

Check your MX record — free, no account.

Your MX record tells the internet where your domain’s inbound mail gets delivered. A missing MX record doesn’t stop you from sending — only from receiving — but it’s often the first sign a domain was set up for outbound-only sending. Paste up to 15 domains below to see live MX status, plus the 4 other checks WarmHawk runs continuously in the paid dashboard.

Questions

MX Record Checker FAQ

What does it mean if my domain has no MX record?+

No MX records means this domain can’t receive mail — but it can still send. That’s normal for a domain used only for outbound sending, and not itself a problem.

What’s a "null MX" record?+

A null MX is a deliberate record stating a domain accepts no mail at all. It’s a valid, intentional configuration that doesn’t affect the domain’s ability to send.

Does a missing MX record hurt deliverability?+

Not on its own. Deliverability is governed by SPF, DKIM and DMARC — MX only controls inbound routing. Check those three, plus blocklist status, below.
